I’m a classically trained fine artist who is self-taught at producing digital and printed work.

Most of my prints, paintings and illustrations are inspired by the natural world. The subject which most inspires me is songbirds. I use my own photographs as reference images and paint depictions of my favourite birds while learning about their species and conservation efforts.

I aspire to create artwork that highlights the beauty in diversity of different bird species, sharing my passion for protecting these creatures with other people.

Past Projects

‘Spark Bird’ Exhibition (2023)

My first public exhibition, ‘Spark Birds’, took place 19th June – 2nd July 2023 at Cass Art Bristol and was a showcase of my original watercolour paintings of birdlife in the UK, and New Zealand. I was lucky enough to sell some original artwork to loving new homes.

Festive Cards (2022)

In 2022 I decided to challenge myself to create some prints of my artwork that meant I could share my designs with more people and which would be affordable. (And using sustainably-sourced materials!)

I produced and sold 100+ festive cards, featuring a colourful trio of European robin, goldfinch and firecrest that were sold on Etsy. These Christmas card packs proved more popular than expected, as I had to order a second batch in time for December.

Birds Around the World (2021 -)

Since my chance encounter with a goldcrest in 2021 (it’s a long story!) I’ve been documenting each bird species I find in sketchbooks and standalone pieces.
